Lewis Hamilton analyses Max Verstappen data to come to clear conclusion

Max Verstappen did not perspire at all during the F1 2023 season, according to Lewis Hamilton, who is convinced the Red Bull driver was “just chilling at the front.”

In 2023, Verstappen won the World Championship with ease for the third time in a row. He also set a new F1 record by winning 10 races in a row, starting from Miami and ending in Monza.

Since the beginning of his first title-winning campaign in 2021, when Verstappen upset Hamilton in highly contentious circumstances in Abu Dhabi, the Dutchman has won 44 of the previous 66 races.

Lewis Hamilton is certain that Max Verstappen is leading the race.

After winning at least one race in every season since making his McLaren debut in 2007, Hamilton has not won since the penultimate round of the 2021 season in Saudi Arabia.

After reviewing Verstappen’s data, the Mercedes driver is certain that his erstwhile rival is struggling at the front of the pack. He cites their fight during the US GP’s closing laps as proof that Red Bull and Verstappen are unmatched.

On the road in Austin, Hamilton came in second place to Verstappen, but he was later disqualified because it was discovered that his car had excessive plank wear during the 56-lap race. It was stated that Hamilton was far more in line with Verstappen’s pace than he would have been otherwise because of his lower ride height.

“You can look through the lap times and some of the data from Max; he is usually just lounging at the front,” he told the BBC. I don’t believe he has exerted much effort this year.

“I don’t think he was sweating, even when we were chasing him in Austin.” I believe he was simply in control of it.

“And the car goes farther when you are in that position where you have performance and can back off.” It’s great to be there, and the tires have more tread. You are in a sweet spot.

“In the end, [Verstappen and Red Bull] deserve it because they worked so hard and did an incredible job.”

The most outrageous F1 quotes from Jeremy Clarkson: Note to Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen:

After the Japanese Grand Prix in September, Hamilton asserted that Mercedes needs “the greatest six months of development ever” in order to compete with Red Bull and Verstappen for the championship in 2024.

The Silver Arrows, who had won eight straight Constructors’ titles prior to the implementation of Formula One’s ground effect regulations, have only managed a single victory over the past two years, which was secured by George Russell, Hamilton’s teammate, in Brazil in November 2022.
