PGA TOUR PRO WHO ONCE TOLD RORY MCILROY TO ‘F— OFF’ SACKS CADDIE

Looper Kip Henley has revealed his anguish after he was sacked by PGA Tour pro Grayson Murray ahead of the 2023-2024 season.

In case you are unfamiliar with Murray, the golfer is renowned for his contentious incidents and internal conflicts.

Among Murray’s career high points was a feud with Kevin Na that nearly resulted in violence at a Mexican driving range.

It followed an odd social media exchange where the American accused Na of playing far too slowly.

Additionally, he lost his cool during the 2022 U.S. Open and threw his putter into the fescue, breaking an iron over his knee.

In addition, Murray is said to have told Rory McIlroy to “f— off” during a contentious players’ meeting in Canada.

Murray also required 50 stitches after being involved in a scooter crash in Bermuda in October 2022.

Murray was also the golfer who wrote in 2021 about his struggles with alcohol. He claimed that the PGA Tour was of no assistance to him.

Murray believes he can put those days behind him and is refocused on 2024.

After regaining his card through the Korn Ferry Tour, he will return to the PGA Tour.

After receiving his Tour card back, Murray said, “I just kind of had a hard talk to myself and realised that I’m getting a second chance. I turn 30 in less than a month.”

He’ll use a different looper, though. Henley related the X story.

“Pretty tough news today,” he wrote. This coming year, Grayson made the decision to “go another direction.”

It doesn’t make a difference for me, even though I don’t think it was easy for him to tell me. Once again, I’m searching the curb for a bag for the upcoming year.

“As always, when one door closes, another will open.”

Henley went on, “I’m sad and disappointed in how things turned out, but I’m not really mad at Grayson, really.” He’s not a nasty guy.

“Relationships can be challenging at times. I am still very close friends with the guy I spent the better part of a decade with. Most of the people I’ve ever worked for, I still keep in touch.”
