F1 movie with Lewis Hamilton as producer featuring Brad Pitt. A lot is already going on

A Formula One movie has reportedly scrapped footage despite spending £14m.

Lewis Hamilton is directing a Formula One movie, but despite spending £14 million, most of the film has reportedly been discarded. There has been a lot of ambiguity surrounding the title of the film, which stars Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.

Prior to this, Hamilton expressed his hope that the movie would surpass the popularity of Netflix’s Drive to Survive. But it’s said that a change in sponsorship compelled the producers to abandon the original footage and reshoot everything.

It is purported that a production company invested more than £14 million ($20 million) in creating a full grid of F1 replica cars. The cars are designed to have the exact same appearance as those that will be competing in the 2023 season.

Nevertheless, rumors state that the video was abandoned and will now be reshot. No explanation has been provided for why the earlier scenes were dropped.

According to a junior executive working on the movie, “We can no longer use a large amount of the scenes we have shot because the sponsorships have changed,” as reported by Business F1 Magazine.

Brad Pitt is featuring in the Formula One film but the movie has had to scrap footage

Pitt,59, will play the lead role in the movie. The article asserts that the script did not meet the necessary standards and that there were multiple gaps in the cast.

Filming for the Great British Grand Prix took place in July at Silverstone, where the production team was spotted. Prior to the race, which Max Verstappen won, Sky Sports conducted an interview with Pitt, who was spotted by spectators dressed in costume.

Pitt remarked, “It’s great to be here.” “We’re laughing so much, it’s the best time of my life,”

Hamilton, a Mercedes star, was originally slated to helm the movie. Seven-time World Championship winner The 38-year-old expressed his hope that the movie would “beyond” the influence of Netflix’s Drive To Survive, which is recognized for having grown the sport’s fan base.
