Hamilton gives positive first impressions of 2024 Mercedes car.

Lewis Hamilton’s positivity is contagious, even for the most hardened F1 cynic. The seven-time world champion, who spent a chunk of 2023 winless for the first time in over a decade, has been effusive in his praise for Mercedes’ new car, which he has seen in testing and is optimistic will bring the team back to the front. The new car, dubbed the W15, has been designed with a fresh approach after the team acknowledged the mistakes of its 2022 car. With Hamilton at the wheel, and the team pushing hard behind the scenes, there is renewed optimism around Brackley.

“The mood at Mercedes is very positive” proclaimed seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. “Everyone is grateful to have achieved second in the constructors championship, given the challenges we faced in 2023.” The Briton was quick to credit the hard work of the team members, who were undoubtedly frustrated by the team’s lack of results this season.
