Max Verstappen issues a rather blunt response to Lewis Hamilton and Brad Pitt’s F1 movie

Max Verstappen shared his opinions about the recently announced Formula One film starring Brad Pitt.

The movie has been in the works for a while and was spotted filming at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. It stars Brad Pitt in the lead role and Lewis Hamilton, Verstappen’s championship rival, as a producer.

Production has reportedly encountered several problems, including actor strikes that have delayed filming. It was also reported that after spending $14 million on replica F1 cars, all of the footage had been discarded and had to be reshot.

Verstappen: “I’m not interested in the F1 movie.”

Although three-time champion Verstappen has stated that he has no interest in the film, Hamilton recently disclosed that the release date is probably going to be in 2025.

In an interview the Dutchman stated, “Yes, so many,” when asked if he was a fan of Pitt’s movies and what his thoughts were on the newest one. I can still remember those roles from Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and so forth.

“In any case, I enjoy watching movies, and Brad Pitt is an incredible actor.

“I watched a few trailers for the new movie prior to the US Grand Prix in Austin. They were displayed along with an explanation of how they had filmed everything during the drivers’ meeting.

It’s nice to see, but I’m not all that interested in it. I don’t require a film of my own sport to be seen.

You have to embrace the fact that everything in this movie is overly dramatic and that the plot is obviously made up. Personally, I’m not all that into that.”
