How Lewis Hamilton felt after 2023 F1 campaign

Lewis Hamilton, who finished the Formula 1 season without winning for the second time in a row, acknowledged that he was emotionally spent.

At the end of this year’s Formula 1 season, Lewis Hamilton said he was “emotionally drained.”

Hamilton had another difficult season as he went winless for the second time in a row.

Since new technical regulations went into effect last year, Mercedes has fallen further down the F1 rankings; the seven-time World Champion’s last victory came at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Hamilton finished the season in third place in the Drivers’ Championship, while teammate George Russell finished in eighth place, despite Mercedes’ difficulties this year.

Hamilton told reporters, including RacingNews365, “I’m not burnt out.”

“I think I’m just more emotionally spent at the end of the year, but I’d rather not keep going into the season.”

According to Hamilton, the season’s logistics have been challenging to manage, and the year’s final journey from Las Vegas to Abu Dhabi was particularly challenging.

“Everyone here, including the teams moving from Las Vegas to [Abu Dhabi], has found it to be extremely challenging. Next year, in my opinion, should be better.

The season is undoubtedly very long. Since there has been so much negativity in the world, I believe that it has been very difficult to keep a positive outlook throughout the year”.
