Dallas Turner’s mind is made up. This is his decision for 2024 NFL

The Rose Bowl match ended Alabama’s season in overtime against Michigan, and linebacker Dallas Turner said it was the last game of his college career. After the 37-31 defeat, Turner recorded his last sack as a Crimson Tide player.

In the locker room after the game, the junior informed ESPN’s Alex Scarborough that he would be entering the 2024 NFL Draft.

“I’m gone,” Turner declared. “There are no ifs, ands, or buts regarding it. “

Turner finished his three seasons at the SEC with 22.5 sacks, 53 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and two forced fumbles. By most accounts, he will be selected in the first round in April.

Turner, like the rest of his Alabama teammates, struggled in Pasadena to put pressure on Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy. The Crimson Tide only had one sack and no quarterback hurries.

“I don’t always rush the quarterback,” Turner said afterward.

“Why?” he inquired. “I’m not sure. “I simply do what I’m told.”

Turner was visibly annoyed.

“It stinks knowing I’m not going to win what I came here for,” he admitted. “I came here to win a national championship, and I’ll never win one.”

Cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry, Kiper’s No. 22 prospect, said he hasn’t decided whether to return next season.

“I’ll get back to my family and see where it goes from there,” he said.

However, Alabama’s starting quarterback, Jalen Milroe, should be available.

Milroe, who finished sixth in Heisman Trophy voting in his first season as a starter, announced his intention to return for his senior season last month on “The Next Round.”
