Rafael Nadal is set to make his return in Doha.

Rafael Nadal is set to make his come-back to the court at the ATP 250 tournament in Doha from 19 to 24 February.
Nadal reached the quarter final at the Brisbane International in his come-back tournament.

The 21-time Grand Slam tournament suffered a micro-tear during his defeat against Jordan Thompson and opted to withdraw from the Australian Open. He said that he was not ready to play at the maximum level in five-set matches.
Nadal faced this setback during his come-back in Brisbane after a long injury lay-off.
Nadal won the Doha title in 2014, but he has not played at this tournament since 2016.

The entry list features Top 5 players Danil Medvedev, who reached the semifinal at the Australian Open this week, last year’s Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 winner Andrey Rublev, six more top 30 players(Karen Khachanov, Ugo Humbert, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Jan-Lennard Struff, Alexander Bublik, Lorenzo Musetti) and two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.

Nadal has been recently appointed as the ambassador for the Saudi Tennis Federation, marking a move by the Gulf Kingdom to enhance its presence in the professional circuit.

“Doha, get ready for the return of El Matador. Thrilled to see Rafael Nadal back in action at the Qatar Exxon Mobil 2024. Vamos”, the tournament wrote in a post.
