Australian Open news: Djokovic singles out Nadal as protestors target women’s final

Novak Djokovic is out of the the Australian Open, after suffering a resounding defeat against Jannik Sinner in the semi-final. After going 2-0 down, the Serb took the third set to keep him in the contest at Melbourne Park, but it was the Italian who took the next one to reach a first Grand Slam final.

Jannik Sinner will take on Daniil Medvedev in the showpiece event in Melbourne after both came through epic semi-final matches in Melbourne. Sinner dumped out Novak Djokovic in four sets, while the Russian star fought back from two sets down to break the heart of Alexander Zverev.

Meanwhile, Nick Kyrgios has seemingly ended his feud with Stefanos Tsitsipas after uploading a picture onto his Instagram account of the pair chilling out together in Melbourne.

Away from his commentary duties, Kyrgios took some time out to relax in Melbourne alongside his Greek rival Tsitsipas and close friend Thanasi Kokkinakis, whom he won the Australian Open doubles with in 2022.
