Novak Djokovic was invited to attend a Sumo wrestling match in Japan.

The tournament was held at the famous Ryogoku Kokugikan, the home of Sumo wrestling, and Djokovic was given a front-row seat to take in all the action.

Sumo wrestling is a very sacred and traditional sport in Japan, and Djokovic was humbled by the experience.

He described the atmosphere as “electric” and said that the wrestlers were “incredibly impressive and powerful.”

Djokovic also had the honor of stepping onto the ring, known as the dohyo, to experience what it feels like to stand face-to-face with a sumo wrestler.

He even tried on a traditional mawashi, the belt that sumo wrestlers wear.

Djokovic spoke of the “incredible honor and privilege” of being able to experience this unique sport up close.

He said that he was deeply moved by the respect and reverence that the Japanese people have for Sumo wrestling.
He felt that it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that he would never forget.
