How Novak Djokovic reaches another historic tennis milestone. He surpasses Roger Federer to achieve this.

At 36 years and 321 days old, Djokovic broke the record for the oldest player to hold the top spot in the ATP rankings. In 2018, at the age of 36 years and 320 days, he overtook Roger Federer to take the top spot. According to Tennis.com, Djokovic is one of eight men’s tennis players who have held the top spot in their 30s. Federer, Andre Agassi, Rafael Nadal, Ivan Lendl, Jimmy Connors, John Newcombe, and Andy Murray are among the players on the list. When Agassi and Nadal were ranked #1, they were 33 years old, while the other tennis players were all 30 years old.

The tennis player from Serbia is currently getting ready for the French Open.

He was eliminated from the Australian Open after losing to the eventual champion, Jannik Sinner, in the ATP Masters 1000 event at Indian Wells.

For Djokovic, the Monte-Carlo Masters is the upcoming event. On Tuesday, the first round gets underway.

The French Open is the next Grand Slam scheduled for the sport. The competition kicks off on May 20.

The most Grand Slam victories of any male player is 24, which is held by Djokovic. Federer had 20 before he retired, while Nadal is in second place with 22.
