Lewis Hamilton, a driver for Mercedes, demonstrated his driving prowess in New York City prior to the Formula One Miami Grand Prix.

Now that the first Asian leg of the 2024 season has concluded, teams are focusing on the United States. Many drivers, including Hamilton, will be hoping to turn things around as the Miami GP at the Miami International Autodrome draws near. The British driver is only ninth in the standings after five races, showing that he hasn’t made an impression on the current season. His final season with Mercedes has been a reflection of his problems from the previous two seasons.

Lewis Hamilton, who will be joining Ferrari in 2019; he was spotted in New York City ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. Hamilton cruised Fifth Avenue in his W15, entertaining onlookers with audacious doughnut tricks, during a Mercedes and WhatsApp PR event. Following the official partnership announcement between Mercedes and WhatsApp in November of last year, an event was held to introduce the new race car emoji.
