Novak Djokovic is hoping to win the Australian Open yet again, and former player Tim Henman could see him do it. This is why…

Henman says Djokovic is looking “very ominous” for Sinner ahead of the Australian Open semifinal.

As a member of the Eurosport coverage team, the Britishman has been closely observing Djokovic, and he was quite impressed with what he saw. In the end, a few early stumbles in the earlier rounds didn’t really matter because Djokovic is currently performing at a very high level.

It took a fight through the first two sets of his most recent match victory over Taylor Fritz, but the result was quite impressive. In the end, Djokovic’s form won out, which is extremely concerning for those who want to unseat him.

After Fritz and Djokovic’s match, Henman spoke with Eurosport about how composed Djokovic appeared to be.

If the American had been allowed to stay for the whole match, the match against Fritz in particular might have been far more complicated. He performed well in the first set and prevailed in the second, but after that, things kind of fell apart. Still, it was a good fight.

When he takes on Jannik Sinner in the upcoming match, things won’t get any simpler. Although Djokovic prevailed in their most significant match, the ATP Finals final, that player has defeated him twice in the past few months.

It will be interesting to see whether Sinner has what it takes to win because this one will be more significant than any of the others that were played.
