MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – In a shocking turn of events, Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner has been eliminated from the Australia Open 2025 in a stunning upset.
Sinner, who was widely considered one of the top contenders for the title, was defeated by unseeded Australian player, James Duckworth, in a thrilling five-set match.
The crowd at the Melbourne Park was left stunned as Duckworth, ranked 123rd in the world, pulled off the biggest upset of the tournament so far, winning 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
